AI grading for handwritten, free-response math, not just multiple choice
AGA-Full grades free-response handwritten solutions with AI, not just multiple-choice answers. It uses the problems and answer keys your academy already has, and splits automatic grading from teacher review based on how confident the AI is.
Grading free-response answers still eats a lot of human time
Unlike multiple choice, a handwritten solution can't be mechanically matched against an answer key — a TA or teacher has to look at every page.
Students solve the same problem differently, so a valid alternate method is easily misgraded as wrong.
Ambiguous handwriting or symbols come up constantly, making grading time unpredictable.
Tracking who needs to resubmit a wrong answer is even harder to manage by hand.
When it's unclear, it goes straight to a human
The AI doesn't judge everything automatically — grading is split by confidence level, so a teacher is always in the loop when it matters.
When unsure, a teacher reviews it
When the AI can't be confident about an answer, it doesn't force a verdict — the case goes to a teacher. Grades can't be talked into changing through open-ended conversation.
Exam mode — no instant grading
When you don't want results shown right away, flip one option when assigning homework. Students submit and move straight to the next question (a banner reminds them grading isn't real-time), and results are revealed all at once once the teacher confirms or everyone finishes. Works for both descriptive (Full) and MCQ (Lite) problems.
Retry loop with feedback
A student who gets it wrong can resubmit using the feedback until it's correct. Attempt count and history are logged so teachers can track each student's progress. Multi-problem sets can be paused and resumed anytime — progress is saved server-side, so the next login picks up right where a student left off.
Parent reports
A full learning summary — including free-response results — with accuracy, 4-week trend, and weak units vs. class average; the teacher issues a link and shares it with parents.
Beta · shared via linkDetailed statistics Excel with charts
Submission status, correctness, score, solve time (teachers can turn this off per class), retries, and late submissions for the whole class, per student × problem, with auto-generated charts — downloadable anytime, plus automatic monthly snapshots and manual saved snapshots you can re-export later.
Included in AGA-Lite Paid & Full · also during the Lite free trialKnow who needs attention without digging through numbers
A simulated example from a 30-student class, 20 questions/week, 10 weeks of data — this is what your academy's own data looks like once organized. Available on AGA-Lite Paid too, not just Full — and you can try it during the Lite free trial.
Spot a student falling behind the class average, in one number
Example: in a class averaging 76% accuracy, a student at 58% (-18pp vs. average) stands out in a single row of the "per-student" sheet — no need to scan all 30 students by hand.
A question with clustered retries signals a concept to re-teach
Example: if "applications of trigonometric functions" averages 2.4 retries per student versus 0.5-0.8 for other units, that's a sign to re-teach the whole class, not just help one student — the "per-question" sheet shows this by unit.
Late-submission patterns reveal study habits too
Example: if a student's submissions cluster right at or after the deadline every time, that's a concrete, evidence-backed point to raise in a parent meeting.

AI grading of free-response work is not generally available yet. Accuracy and pricing will be set after validation with real academy data, so we don't promise specific numbers today. If you need something your academy can use right now, try AGA-Lite (multiple-choice auto-grading) first.
