A new provision allows the Company to provide the commissioned sales agent who recruited a Member (academy) with academy-level usage status (totals of the number of classes, students, registered problems and submissions, and the most recent date of use) for the purpose of determining sign-up, activation and conversion to a paid plan and settling commissions (Article 19-2). Information that can identify individual students or teachers, the content of problems and answers, and grades are not provided. In addition, prices are clarified as being stated on a supply-value basis, and VAT of 10% is charged in addition to the service fee (Article 14, Paragraph 4; from the charges for the November 2026 usage month).

The monthly service fee per student is divided into a list price of KRW 1,500 and a launch price of KRW 1,000 (supply value, excluding VAT). Academies that convert to a paid plan by June 30, 2027 are guaranteed the launch price of KRW 1,000 for 24 months from their conversion date (including academies that are already on a paid plan), and the list price applies from the usage month following the end of the guarantee period (notified by email and in-app notification 30 days before it applies). A minimum monthly fee of KRW 10,000 (excluding VAT) per paid academy is also introduced (Article 14, Paragraphs 1 and 5 to 8). The new fee rules apply from usage in December 2026.

  • Business registration number: 232-59-00866
  • Email: support@ssamm-ai.com
  • Chief Privacy Officer: Christopher J. You (유재원) (support@ssamm-ai.com)

Article 4 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

  1. The Company posts the contents of these Terms on the website and the Service screens so that Members and Users can easily see them.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate relevant laws, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. (E-Commerce Act), and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (Network Act).
  3. When the Company amends the Terms, it shall specify the date of application and the reasons for the amendment and give notice thereof together with the current Terms from 7 days before the date of application until the day before the date of application. However, where the contents of the Terms are changed to the disadvantage of Members, the Company shall give notice at least 30 days in advance and shall individually notify Members by email to the Academy Administrator, in-Service notifications, or the like.
  4. If the Company, when giving notice or notification of the amended Terms under Paragraph 3, has clearly stated that a Member will be deemed to have agreed unless it expresses its refusal before the date of application, and the Member nevertheless does not explicitly express its refusal, the Member is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
  5. If a Member does not agree to the amended Terms, the Company may not apply the amended Terms, and the Member may terminate the Service Agreement.

Article 5 (Rules Other Than the Terms)

Matters not provided for in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms are governed by the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement and any individual agreement entered into between the Company and the Member, the operating policies set by the Company, and relevant laws or commercial practice. If the contents of these Terms conflict with those of the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement, the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement prevails with respect to the processing of personal information.

Chapter 2 Service Agreement

Article 6 (Formation of the Service Agreement)

  1. The Service Agreement is formed when the Academy Administrator enters the required information on the academy registration application screen of the Service, agrees to these Terms and the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement, applies for registration, and the Company approves the application. However, in the case of a free plan determined by the Company, the academy may be created at the same time as the application.
  2. The Company records and retains the version of the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement agreed to by the Member and the time of agreement. If the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement is changed, the Academy Administrator must review the full text of the changed agreement and agree again upon the next login in order to continue using the Service, and the Company records the newly agreed version and time.
  3. A teacher becomes a User by applying for membership by entering the academy code and obtaining the approval of the Academy Administrator, and a student becomes a User by applying for membership by selecting the academy code and a class and obtaining the approval of the teacher of that class. A teacher may also register student accounts directly.
  4. Approval of Users' membership and management of their affiliation and permissions are the responsibility of the Member.

Article 7 (Acceptance and Restriction of Applications for Use)

  1. The Company may refuse to accept, or subsequently terminate the Service Agreement for, an application falling under any of the following.
    • Where the application is made in the name of an academy that is not actually in operation or using another person's name
    • Where false information is entered or information requested by the Company is not provided
    • Where an application is made in duplicate for an academy that is already registered
    • Where the applicant's Service Agreement has previously been terminated for violation of these Terms
    • Where the application otherwise violates relevant laws or is made for an improper purpose
  2. The Company may defer acceptance where there is no spare capacity in its facilities or there are technical or operational problems.

Article 8 (Member's Responsibility for the Personal Information of Students and Guardians)

  1. The Member, as the personal information controller (개인정보처리자) of students' and guardians' personal information, shall comply with relevant laws including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and the Company processes such information as a processor (수탁자) in accordance with the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement entered into with the Member.
  2. The Member shall lawfully obtain the consent necessary for the collection and use of students' personal information, and in particular, for students under the age of 14, shall obtain the consent of their legal representative. The student registration screen of the Service provides a consent form in the Member's name and a legal representative verification procedure, and where a teacher registers a student directly, the Member shall obtain consent outside the Service before registration.
  3. When a student leaves the academy, the Member shall process the un-enrollment in the Service. The personal information and learning history of a student processed as un-enrolled are automatically destroyed once 6 months have elapsed from the date of un-enrollment processing.
  4. The Member shall deliver a parent report link only to the guardian of the relevant student, and if a link has been delivered in error, shall immediately revoke the link in the Service.

Chapter 3 Use of the Service

Article 9 (Contents of the Service)

The Company provides the following services. Specific features and scope of use may differ depending on the Plan.

  1. Registration and management of problems, correct answers, and grading criteria (photo, text, document input, etc.)
  2. Class operation, homework assignment, and submission management
  3. AI grading and feedback of student answers and teacher review features
  4. Learning support features such as resubmission of incorrect answers, similar problems, and re-assignment of incorrectly answered problems
  5. Learning statistics by student and by class, and data export
  6. Generation of parent reports and issuance of viewing links
  7. Notifications (in-app notifications, app and web push, email)
  8. Other services additionally developed by the Company or provided through partnerships

Article 10 (Nature and Limitations of AI Grading)

  1. Grading Results of the Service are produced by artificial intelligence analyzing answer images and may be inaccurate due to handwriting recognition errors, solution interpretation errors, and the like.
  2. For answers with low determination confidence, the Service asks the student a short confirmation question or classifies the answer for teacher review, and teachers may review and change all Grading Results. Final confirmation of Grading Results and educational judgments, such as grade evaluation and communication with parents, are the responsibility of the Member (teachers).
  3. To continuously improve grading quality, the Company may use grading cases corrected by teachers belonging to a Member as reference material for that Member's subsequent grading, and does not share them with other Members.
  4. For the processing of AI grading and AI features, answer images and the like may be transmitted to AI service providers located overseas, and the details are governed by the Privacy Policy.

Article 11 (Provision and Change of the Service)

  1. In principle, the Service is provided 24 hours a day, all year round.
  2. The Company may change the contents, features, screen layout, and the like of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons, and in the case of a material change disadvantageous to Members, shall give prior notice of the reasons for and contents of the change.
  3. The Company may modify, discontinue, or change part or all of the services provided free of charge as necessary in accordance with the Company's policies and operations.

Article 12 (Interruption of the Service)

  1. The Company may temporarily interrupt the provision of the Service where there are unavoidable reasons such as repair, inspection, or replacement of facilities, breakdowns, communication outages, failures of external service providers (cloud, AI services, etc.), or natural disasters.
  2. In the case of an interruption under Paragraph 1, the Company gives prior notice. However, where there are unavoidable reasons that prevent the Company from giving prior notice, it may give notice afterwards.
  3. Answers for which a failure occurred during grading processing may be passed on for teacher review.

Article 13 (Free Trial and Trial Accounts)

  1. Depending on the Plan, the Company may provide a free trial allowing use of the Service free of charge for a certain period, and posts the conditions of the free trial, such as its period and the number of students allowed, on the website or the Service screens.
  2. If a Member does not convert to a paid plan after the free trial period ends, use of some features may be restricted. The Company notifies the Member of this by email and in-Service notification on the reference date of the month in which the free trial ends, and receives the application for the first paid usage month under Article 14-2.
  3. The automatic renewal under Article 14-3 does not apply to free trial Members. Conversion to a paid plan takes place only when there are both an application by the Academy Administrator and confirmation of payment by the Company, and no service fee is charged to a Member that has not applied.
  4. Trial (sandbox) accounts provided so that teachers can try the features without registering an academy, and the data registered with such accounts, are automatically deleted once 7 days have elapsed from the date of creation, and some features that incur costs, such as AI grading, may be restricted.

Chapter 4 Service Fees

Article 14 (Service Fees)

  1. The monthly service fee of a paid plan is the amount obtained by multiplying the enrollment cap of the relevant usage month by the monthly service fee per student posted by the Company on the website. Detailed conditions such as the per-person unit price for each Plan, minimum fee, discounts, and included features and usage are provided through the website or individual quotations or agreements.
  2. The Company tallies AI grading usage, notifies the Member when the limit set in the Plan is exceeded or is being approached, and may restrict use of the relevant feature when the limit is exceeded.
  3. When the Company changes the service fee (including the per-person unit price and the permitted scope under Article 14-4), it shall give notice no later than 30 days before the date of application, and the pre-change fee applies to usage periods already paid for.

Article 14-2 (Calculation of the Monthly Number of Users and Application for Use)

  1. On the reference date of each month, the Company calculates the number of the Member's enrolled students and proposes it as the enrollment cap for the next usage month, and notifies the Academy Administrator by email and in-Service notification of the proposed enrollment cap, the expected service fee for the next usage month, the additional fee for the current month (Article 14-4), and the application deadline (the last day of the month in which the reference date falls).
  2. By the application deadline, the Academy Administrator may select one of the following on the Service screen.
    • Apply for use in the next usage month with the proposed enrollment cap
    • Apply for use in the next usage month with a changed enrollment cap. However, the enrollment cap may not be set lower than the number of enrolled students on the reference date.
    • Discontinue use from the next usage month (deemed an application for termination under Article 20)
  3. Since students not processed as un-enrolled are counted as enrolled students, the Member shall process students who have left as un-enrolled in the Service before the reference date (Article 8, Paragraph 3). Un-enrollment processing is not the deletion of the student account, and the information of a student processed as un-enrolled is destroyed in accordance with Article 8, Paragraph 3.
  4. Where it appears that the Member is attempting to calculate the number of users as lower than the actual number, such as by processing a student as un-enrolled immediately before the reference date and re-registering the student immediately after the reference date, the Company may request the Member to confirm the facts, and if this is confirmed, may include the relevant student in the number of users for settlement.

Article 14-3 (Automatic Renewal)

  1. If the Academy Administrator of a paid-plan Member does not make the selection under Article 14-2, Paragraph 2 by the application deadline, the Service Agreement is automatically renewed for the next usage month with the proposed enrollment cap.
  2. In the notice under Article 14-2, Paragraph 1 and in the reminder sent 3 days before the application deadline, the Company clearly informs the Member of the fact of automatic renewal and its conditions (the enrollment cap to be renewed and the expected service fee).
  3. Even after automatic renewal, the Member may terminate the Service Agreement under Article 20, in which case refunds are governed by Article 16.
  4. This Article does not apply to free trial Members (Article 13, Paragraph 3).

Article 14-4 (Additional Registration during the Usage Month and Additional Fees)

  1. During a usage month, the Member may additionally register students in excess of the enrollment cap within the range of 5/100 of the enrollment cap (fractions of less than one person are discarded). If the number of enrolled students exceeds the enrollment cap during a usage month, the Company bills the amount obtained by multiplying the largest number by which the cap was exceeded during that usage month by the monthly service fee per student, together with the service fee for the next usage month.
  2. To register students beyond the range in Paragraph 1, the Academy Administrator must increase the enrollment cap on the Service screen. The increased enrollment cap applies immediately, and the Company bills the amount obtained by multiplying the increased number by the monthly service fee per student, together with the service fee for the next usage month. In this case, no daily proration is made, and the additional fee under Paragraph 1 is calculated based on the increased enrollment cap.
  3. The Company shows the details of the additional fees under Paragraphs 1 and 2 in the notice under Article 14-2, Paragraph 1 and in the billing notice.

Article 15 (Payment and Billing)

  1. The service fee is paid by the method notified by the Company (bank transfer, card payment, etc.). Each month, the Company notifies the Member by email or otherwise of the billed amount, which combines the service fee for the next usage month and the additional fee under Article 14-4, and of the payment method and deadline, and issues an electronic tax invoice if the Member so requests.
  2. The Company applies the relevant Plan after payment has been confirmed.
  3. If the Member does not pay the service fee by the payment deadline set in the billing notice, the Company may suspend use of the Service in accordance with Article 21.

Article 16 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)

  1. Since the Service Agreement for this Service is an agreement between a business (academy) and the Company, withdrawal of subscription (청약철회) and refunds are governed by the criteria set out in Paragraph 2.
  2. Where a Member using a paid plan terminates the Service Agreement, the Company refunds, within 14 days from the date of the termination request, the full service fee if the Service has not been used within 7 days from the payment date, and in other cases, the balance obtained by deducting the amount corresponding to the AI grading volume used from the amount calculated on a daily prorated basis for the remaining usage period.
  3. Where the Service cannot be used continuously for 4 hours or more due to reasons attributable to the Company, the Company extends the usage period free of charge by a period equal to 3 times the time during which the Service could not be used.
  4. Refunds do not apply to the free trial period.

Chapter 5 Obligations of the Parties

Article 17 (Obligations of the Company)

  1. The Company does not engage in acts prohibited by relevant laws and these Terms or contrary to public order and good morals, and endeavors to provide the Service continuously and stably.
  2. The Company maintains a security system to protect Users' personal information, and publishes and complies with the Privacy Policy.
  3. The Company treats Content registered by a teacher as the exclusive asset of the teacher who registered it, and ensures that other Users, including the Academy Administrator, and the Company's operations staff cannot view it. However, solely with respect to accounts designated by the Company where the teacher who registered the Content has personally consented to participate in beta testing, the Company's operations staff may view the Content registered by such accounts for quality assurance purposes; the Company does not designate an account without the teacher's own consent, and if the teacher withdraws consent or the designation is cancelled, viewing is immediately blocked. Test academies that the Company itself establishes and operates to test the Service, and the accounts belonging to them, are not Members' academies, and the consent requirement of this Paragraph therefore does not apply to them.
  4. Where a teacher leaves a Member, the right to use the Content registered by that teacher (content owner status) may be transferred to another designated teacher or the Academy Administrator belonging to the same Member only if that teacher has explicitly consented within the Service. At no stage before or after the transfer may the Academy Administrator view the substance of the Content without such consent, and Content for which consent has not been given is destroyed once 30 days have elapsed after the termination of that teacher's account, in accordance with Article 20 and the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement.
  5. The Company does not share Content or AI-Generated Content with other Members or compile it into a separate problem bank.
  6. If the Company recognizes that an opinion or complaint raised by a Member or User in connection with the use of the Service is justified, it shall handle it and inform them of the handling process and results.

Article 18 (Obligations of Members and Users)

  1. Members and Users shall not engage in the following acts.
    • Registering false information when applying for membership or changing information
    • Misappropriating another person's account information, or transferring or lending one's own account to another person
    • Registering Content that infringes the intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, of a third party
    • Using the grading features of the Service by improper means, or attempting to manipulate Grading Results by abusing confirmation questions or the like
    • Reverse engineering the Service, accessing the Service by abnormal means, or interfering with the operation of the Service through excessive requests
    • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the data of the Company or other Members
    • Acts that violate relevant laws or are contrary to public order and good morals
  2. Users are responsible for managing their own IDs and passwords, and upon becoming aware of misappropriation, shall immediately notify their academy or the Company.
  3. The Member shall manage its affiliated Users so that they comply with these Terms, and a violation of these Terms by an affiliated User is deemed a violation by the Member.

Article 19 (Rights and Responsibilities regarding Content)

  1. The copyright and lawful right to use Content belong to the Member that registered it (or the affiliated teacher who actually registered it), and the Member warrants that the Content does not infringe the copyrights or other rights of third parties. The Company does not review the source or lawfulness of Content.
  2. The Member permits the Company to use the Content to the extent necessary to provide the Service (storage, grading processing, generation of AI-Generated Content, display to students, etc.).
  3. AI-Generated Content is treated as the asset of the teacher who registered the original Content, and the Member may use it freely within the Service. However, whether copyright subsists in AI-Generated Content is governed by relevant laws and case law, and the Company does not warrant it.
  4. Where Content or AI-Generated Content infringes the rights of a third party due to a defect in the rights to the original Content, the Member that registered the original Content is responsible.
  5. Learning data such as answer images submitted by students are the materials of the students and the Member, and the Company processes them only in accordance with the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement and the Privacy Policy.
  6. Intellectual property rights in the Service itself (software, screen design, grading methods, etc.) belong to the Company.

Chapter 6 Termination of Agreement and Restriction of Use

Article 20 (Termination by the Member)

  1. The Member may apply for termination of the Service Agreement at any time by email (support@ssamm-ai.com), and the Company processes it immediately as prescribed by relevant laws. Where the Academy Administrator selects discontinuation of use from the next usage month under Article 14-2, Paragraph 2, this is also deemed an application for termination, in which case the termination takes effect on the last day of the relevant usage month.
  2. When the Service Agreement is terminated, the Company returns to the Member or destroys the Member's personal information and data in accordance with the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement and notifies the Member of the result. The Company retains the data for 30 days from the date of termination (within this period, the termination may be withdrawn and use resumed at the Member's request), and after 30 days have elapsed, destroys all of the Member's data, including student information. However, fee and transaction records that must be preserved under relevant laws are retained for the relevant period after being processed so that individuals cannot be identified.
  3. Before termination, the Member may keep the necessary materials by using the export features provided by the Service.

Article 21 (Suspension of Use and Termination by the Company)

  1. If a Member or User falls under any of the following, the Company may, after prior notification, suspend use of the Service or terminate the Service Agreement.
    • Where the service fee has not been paid by the payment deadline
    • Where the obligations under Article 18 have been violated
    • Where it is confirmed that there was a ground for restricting acceptance under Article 7, Paragraph 1
  2. When the Company suspends an academy's use, new logins are blocked immediately, and Users who are already logged in are blocked from use after a grace period of 7 days from the date of suspension has elapsed.
  3. When the ground for suspension has been resolved, the Company lifts the suspension of use without delay.
  4. The Member may raise an objection to a suspension of use or termination by email (support@ssamm-ai.com).

Chapter 7 Compensation for Damages and Limitation of Liability

Article 22 (Compensation for Damages)

  1. If the Company or the Member causes damage to the other party by violating these Terms, it is liable to compensate for such damage. However, this does not apply where there is no intent or negligence.
  2. Liability where personal information is leaked or damaged due to the intent or negligence of the Company is governed by the Personal Information Processing Entrustment Agreement and relevant laws.

Article 23 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Company is exempt from liability where it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, war, or failures of external service providers.
  2. The Company is not liable for disruptions in the use of the Service caused by reasons attributable to the Member or User.
  3. The Company is not liable for damage arising from errors in AI Grading Results, except where the Company has acted with intent or gross negligence. Grading Results may be reviewed and changed by teachers, and educational judgments are the responsibility of the Member.
  4. The Company is not liable for the substance or lawfulness of Content registered by the Member or for disputes arising therefrom.
  5. The Company is not liable in connection with the use of services provided free of charge, unless otherwise specifically provided by relevant laws.
  6. The foregoing Paragraphs do not apply to damage caused by the intent or gross negligence of the Company.

Chapter 8 Miscellaneous

Article 24 (Notification)

  1. When the Company gives notification to a Member, it may do so by the email registered by the Academy Administrator, in-Service notification, or the like.
  2. Notification to an unspecified large number of Members may be replaced by a notice on the website or within the Service in lieu of individual notification. However, matters that have a material effect on Members are notified individually.

Article 25 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. The Company operates a customer inquiry channel (support@ssamm-ai.com) in order to reflect the legitimate opinions and complaints of Members and Users and to handle compensation for damage.
  2. Disputes arising between the Company and a Member are resolved through mutual consultation, and if no agreement is reached through consultation, either party may apply for dispute mediation by the relevant institution.

Article 26 (Governing Law and Competent Court)

  1. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to disputes concerning these Terms and the use of the Service.
  2. The competent court for lawsuits concerning disputes arising between the Company and a Member is the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Addenda

  1. These Terms take effect on 2026-10-06.
  2. (Transitional measure) For Members using a paid plan at the time these Terms take effect, Articles 14-2 through 14-4 apply from the first reference date arriving after the effective date, and until then the enrollment cap follows the conditions of use already paid for by the Member.
  3. Revision history
